In addition to the many items for checkout we have for all ages, the West Fargo Public Library also offers programs and services especially for youth and their families. From in-library storytimes and our annual Summer Boost program to pop-up libraries at community events, we have many options for children to learn, meet, share, read, play and create. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Intended for children 0 - 5 and their parents, the West Fargo Public Library's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program helps parents ensure their child has the skills they need to read and succeed by the time they head to Kindergarten.

Daycare Visits & Deliveries
The West Fargo Public Library partners with local daycares to provide book deliveries and private storytimes in efforts to help ensure every child in West Fargo has resources to help them build important early literacy skills.

Ready to Read Early Literacy Programs & Services
Through Ready to Read early literacy programs at the West Fargo Library, children under the age of five build basic early literacy skills through reading, writing, talking, singing and playing in a safe, fun and social environment. Storytime
Storytimes at the West Fargo Public Library are fun, interactive experiences for children and their adults. At storytime, children grow important early literacy skills like vocabulary, comprehension, social skills, and more while we read, play and create together. Parents learn a thing or two too as they explore new ways to support their child's early literacy development.

Summer Reading Program
Summer Boost is an annual program of the West Fargo Public Library which includes an online reading challenge for all ages, tons of programs and activities, the Little Red Reading Bus route and more opportunities to read, play and create while learning new things and practicing important skills to keep kids from falling behind academically during the summer.
