Summer Coloring Contest

The West Fargo Police Department's COPS Unit is hosting a summer coloring contest for children in preschool through 5th grade.

Rules:

Participants must live or attend school in West Fargo.
Entries judged in grade brackets:
- Preschool
- 1st-2nd grade
- 3rd-5th grade
The coloring sheet on page 1 and entry form on page 2 must be completed to be entered.
Completed entries must be returned by Thursday, July 7, to the West Fargo Police Department. Forms can be mailed, dropped off, or emailed to Community Engagement Officer Jorgensen.

Selected entries will be posted on West Fargo Police Department social media channels.

Selected winners will receive a West Fargo Police Department prize package.
The winners will be announced on the West Fargo Police Department's Facebook page.
Parent or legal guardian of the winner(s) will be contacted by phone to arrange pick up of the prize package.

Never give fireworks to children under 12 years of age.
Never throw or point a firework toward people, animals, vehicles, or structures.
Always supervise a grill when in use. Keep the grill away from the house, deck, tree branches, or anything flammable.
Provide close and constant attention to children you are supervising in or near water.
Only light one firework at a time and never attempt to relight "a dud."
Abide by the City of West Fargo's firework ordinance available online.
