The Water Tracker is one element of the City's Smart Water Meter System. The website allows residents to track the water they use and set up alerts to notify them of heavy water usage that could be costly.
This page includes helpful tips for setting up your Water Tracker customer portal, creating usage alerts, and suggestions for what to do if you receive an alert.

Only one email address can be registered per utility account to access the full Water Tracker dashboard and alerts. However, additional recipients can be added to receive alerts once registration is complete.
Account registration tips:
Your City of West Fargo Utility Account Number and Web ID is needed to register. These are listed on your monthly billing statement.
As part of the process, you will be emailed a registration link from Sensus Analytics. The link will expire in 24 hours.
The password you select must follow all of these rules:
Must not contain regular words
Be at least 8 characters.
Use at least one lower-case character.
Use at least one upper-case character.
Use at least one number.
Use at least one of the following special characters
: - ! " $ % & ' * , .
Alert setup tips:
You will be able to set up any of the following alerts:
Billing Cycle Usage Alert: Water usage that exceeds a given amount in the monthly billing cycle.
Daily Usage Alert: Water usage that exceeds a given amount in one day.
Multi-Day Alert: Water usage that exceeds a given amount in one day.
Vacation Alerts: Temporary Daily Usage Alert override for a lower amount during a vacation.
Refresh your alert settings after 90 days.
The Water Tracker will calculate an average Daily Usage and Multi-Day Usage for your account after 90 days.
If you elect to receive text message alerts, standard text message fees may apply based on your contract with your phone provider.
To add an alert recipient to receive notifications when an alert is triggered, go to Settings then Alert Recipients.
