How do I get fingerprints for a job or license requirement?

Police Clerks  are available at the West Fargo Police Department to fingerprint the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Please do not write on your fingerprint cards, if they were provided to you, until you speak with staff at the West Fargo Police Department.  Once the prints are completed, they will be signed and sealed for you to take.

The West Fargo Police Department also has electronic fingerprint capability for agencies in North Dakota requesting the prints.  For example, if you need to get printed for the North Dakota Board of Nurses, we are able to do electronic prints.

There is a $10 charge for fingerprinting. The West Fargo Police Department accepts cash or checks or electronic payment for fingerprints.  The electronic payment adds a $2 or 3% charge.
